Cotopaxi- Having all the details on "Having All the Fun"

Posted on January 21st, 2016

Very, very excited to announce the Cotopaxi LP "Having All the Fun" will be dropping in April. Vinyl pre-orders and song premieres coming soon.

We announced the signing of Cotopaxi last year, but here is a little refresher:

Cotopaxi is the new project from Anthony Heubel. You might recognize him from his long-standing band Run Forever, but this project will have you seeing him in an entirely different light. Dark, brooding guitars and driving drums swim over somber vocals and poignant lyrics that match the weight of the music word for word. Think Pedro the Lion, Red House Painters, and Damien Jurado.

In the meantime, start memorizing and analyzing the track list for what could be your favorite early AOTY contender.

Having All The Fun

1. Exceptionally Ordinary
2. Middle Of America
3. Hardly Knew You
4. Right All The Time
5. Black Dog
6. You Were, You’re Not
7. Fewer Expectations
8. Spend
9. Pride
10. American Dump

Recreational Drugs is out today!

Posted on December 18th, 2015

Today, the Recreational Drugs self-titled EP is officially out! All pre-orders are on their way, with the exception of the shirts, which should be out and on their way next week.

We had a bit of a snafu with the digital and it won’t be on iTunes, Spotify, et al. for a few weeks, but you can listen to it on our Bandcamp until then.

Listen to it here: https://countyourluckystars.bandcamp.com/album/recreational-drugs

Grab the record/shirt here: http://countyourluckystars.limitedrun.com/roster/recreationaldrugs/products

Stream the first song from the Recreational Drugs EP at Brooklyn Vegan!

Posted on December 3rd, 2015

You can now stream a track from the self-titled debut EP by Recreational Drugs (Into It. Over It./Their / They're / There/Lifted Bells) at BrooklynVegan. Very smart instrumental rock in the vein of Ghosts & Vodka and The Album Leaf. Each movement a deliberate and considered pace, each note and beat sitting just right. Plus, the song titles have references to pets!

After you hear how much this rips, grab the pre-order here, along with a cool shirt.  Album drops 12/18 worldwide.
